Cactus / khoyo

It is mid of autumn in here.
A astrophytum myriostigma cv khoyo, kikkou has started turning the body color.
This cultivar turns the body color from autumn to spring similar to autumn leaves.
It returns to normal green in summer.

    Hi Frank. Do you know the origin of kohyo? It's a strange trait. Could it be a kind of virus?
