Cactus / kikkou

Two Astrophytum myriostigma v nudum cv kikkous were in flower in the afternoon.
The photo is one of two, 9 cm in diameter.
The cactus shows the character of "kikkou" very well.

Cactus / Astrophytum hybrid

A 1st filial Astrophytum hybrid, fukuryu banjyaku x myriostigma cv kikkou was in flower in the afternoon.
The body appearance is out of my target unfortunately.

Cactus / Red flowering asterias

An astrophytum asterias cv red flowering asterias was in flower.
It is one of original red flowering asterias in my place.
I bought seeds from a local seed supplier but seeds came from Europe originally, I assume.
Although the cactus is a mature age, the body is just 7 cm in diameter.

Cactus / miracle kabuto

A matured Astrophytum asterias cv miraclkabuto was in flower.
The flower is very small.
Flowers of asterias in autumn are narmally very small but autumn has not been yet.
The size of cactus is 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / banjyaku

A degrafted and rooted Astrophytum hybrid, hakujyou fukuryu banjyaku was in flower in the afternoon.
It is 9 cm in diameter. The flower is quite small.

Cactus / hanazono kabuto

A 1st filial red flowering hanazono kabuto created by myself was in flower.
The cactus has been shrank a bit because of under rooting process.
A short stock attached on the cactus was removed last spring and set for the normal rooting.
The size is 7 cm in diameter.

Cactus / super kabuto

Several cacti were in flower yesterday.
The photo is one of them, Astrophytum asterias cv super kabuto.
It is 15 cm in diameter.
The body is a typical sea-star shaped.

Cactus / myriostigma

A young Astrophytum myriostigma v nudum cv kikkou was in flower.
It is degrafted and rooted.
The size is 10 cm in diameter.

Cactus / horstii

A discocactus horstii was in flower. I took the photo in this morning.
I collected many flowering size ones but it is remained just one now.

Cactus / asterias

An other asterias was in flower yesterday.
This one is also a matured age and showing the character of hanazono.
The current size is 15 cm in diameter

Cactus / miracle kabuto

Young miracle kabutos were in flower.
Seeds were sown in 2012.
The photo is one of them, 7 cm in diameter.
The cactus shows the character of "miracle" very well.

Cactus / capricorne

Several astrophytum capricones were in flower.
The photo is one of them.
It has a reddish flower, 5 cm in diameter.
