The time for repotting of aserias has come.
I started to remove asterias from pots and washed two days ago.
During drying, I shortened roots. You can not expect a good growing when long roots were packed in the pot.
I always shorten aserias roots when they needed repotting.
why it is necessary to shorten the roots
ReplyDeleteAsterias grows well when you use slightly larger pot than it body size. Too large pot is not good.
ReplyDeleteSince I use relatively small pot, plant roots is filled up in the pot around for 1 year and can not expect further growing. I repot in spring cutting roots and use 1 size larger pot.
