Cactus / Repotting

The time for repotting of aserias has come.
I started to remove asterias from pots and washed two days ago.
During drying, I shortened roots. You can not expect a good growing when long roots were packed in the pot.
I always shorten aserias roots when they needed repotting.

  2. Asterias grows well when you use slightly larger pot than it body size. Too large pot is not good.
Since I use relatively small pot, plant roots is filled up in the pot around for 1 year and can not expect further growing. I repot in spring cutting roots and use 1 size larger pot.
