Cactus / pectinifera

 3 Uebelmannia species were in flower yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them, U. pectinifera.

The flower of pectinifera is quite small.

Cactus / alonsoi

 A degrafted Turbinicarpus alonsoi was in flower yesterday when it was the begining of winter. 

Normal alonsoi is small but this one is 13 cm indiameter because the cactus was grafted once.

Cactus / buiningii

 Although May is the last month in autumn in here, two uebelmannia species were in flowere yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them, U. buiningii.

I harvested seeds and sowed last summer but I could not see any germinations.

Cactus / retusus ?

 Several ariocarpus retusus related species were in flower yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them, 12 cm in diameter.

It seems the cactus is mixed other ariocarpus species but I am not sure because the cactus is propagated from seed given by my friend.

Cactus / scaphirostris

 Two degrafted ariocarpus scaphirostris were in flower yesterday.

The attached photo is on of them.

The cactus is quite small, is in a 8.5 cm square pot.

Cactus / retusus

 A degrafted matured ariocarpus retusus was in flower yesterday.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2003. A young seedling was grafted and degrafted later.

The cactus relies on own-roots currently.

Cactus / Ariocarpus hybrid

 An ariocarpus hybrid, retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower x fissuratus cv godzilla was in flower yesterday.

The cactus is a degrafted one and just 4 years old.

The flower is 2nd flowering in this season.
