Cactus sanchez-mejoradae

 A Mammillaria sanchez-mejoradae was in flower.

It is a rooted off-set, just 3 cm in diameter.

I believe spring is alomst in here.

Cactus / valdezianus

A Turbinicarpus valdezianus was in flower.
It is in winter in here but the cactus shows spring will be soon.
This one is a rooted off-set, 5 cm in diameter.
4 others have also pushed flowering buds up.

Cactus / retusus

Since it is winter in here, the morning temperature is quite low.
It was 3 'C in greenhouses in this morning.
Not so many cacti are in flower now but an Ariocarpus retusus was in flower yesterday.

Cactus / agavoides

It was 6 'C in greenhouses in this morning but some Ariocarpus were in flower.
The photo is one of them, an Ariocarpus agavoides.
The cactus was degrafted and rooted 2 years ago.

Cactus / kotschoubeyanus

It is the 1st day of winter in here today.
Some Ariocarpus have still been in flower.

Cactus / jauernigii

I bought 10 seeds of Turbinicarpus jauernigii and sowed in August 2006.
5 of them have survived

Cactus / Ariocarpus

Yesterday was a dood sunshine day. Several Ariocarpus were in flower in the afternoon.
A fused Ariocarpus, kotschoubeyanus and agavoides is one of them.
They were fused during the grafting process.
