4 of Ariocarpus retusus v major cv Daruma Royal were in flower yesterday afternoon.
They were degrafted in September 2006 with short stocks.
They all are 3 years old.

They were all degrafted and attached short Pereskiopsis stockes.

I keep 24 of this species, degrafted same time.

4 of Ariocarpus fissuratus were in flower.
I sowed seeds in 2007.
They are propagated without grafting.

Grafted ariocarpus agavoides are in flower in quite young age.
If you grafted a young seedling in spring, it will be in flower in autumn, 8 months after the grafting.

Stocks are Peleskiopsis.

The weather in autumn is unstable.
This triggers multiple times flowering of Ariocarpus in a season.
The photo is an A. retusus v furfuraceus cv Daruma Seiji.
This is 2nd flowering in this autumn.

Cactus / fusion

This is an other "fusion",  Astrophytum myriostigma cv Onzuka and Ariocarpus retusus cv Shinkawa Tama zouge.
They have been jointed well and growing with a good speed.
