Cactus / kotschoubeyanus

A grafted Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus v elepantideus has pushed a flowering bud up.
The scion is less than 1 year old, sown seed in August last year.
Since it has been in winter, the bud may not be opened.

It was rainy and cold day yesterday.
There are no cacti flowers currently.
Spring will be soon and I have to wait it.

Cactus / retusus cultivar

An Ariocarpus retusus cultivar, Shinkawa Tama-zouge was in flower.
The character of cultivar is longer tubercles compared to the standard one.
I have planned to increase this species.

Winter is in here.
It was quite cool in this morning.
Several Ariocarpus species have still been in flower.

I have collected small numbers of Turbinicarpus species.
T. jauernigii is one of them.
Several jauernigii were in flower yesterday.
I sowed seeds in 2007.

Cactus / hintonii

3 of degrafted Ariocarpus bravoanus v hintonii were in flower yesterday.
They are still very young and small, in 65 mm square pots.
