Cactus / red flowering asterias

Although it is in autumn and the maximum temperature of mid day is just high 20s, asterias are still in flower.
2 red flowering asterias were in flower. I pollinated them.
The attached photo is one of them.

Cactus / Big Bend

This is a degrafted Ariocarpus fissuratus f Big Bend.
It is hard to say how different from a standard fissuratus but the surface of tubercles is smoother than that of standard one, I think.

Cactus / intermedius

A grafted Ariocarpus fissuratus v intermedius was in flower.
It seems fissuratus related species are in flower very early in autumn.
I just have 2 flowering size plants but 24 of grafted young ones are following up.

Cactus / hintonii

The attached photo is a grafted Ariocarpus bravoanus v hintonii.
 A hintonii grows very slowly and takes years to reach a flowering age if it was own-root plant.
You can see flowers in 2~3 years if you graft.

Cactus / fissuratus

Autumn has been in here.
Several grafted Ariocarpus were in flower today.
This is one of them, fissuratus.

Cactus / myriostigma

It is a standard form of A. myriostigma staying in my greenhouse more than 10 years.
I could see a flower yesterday.

Cactus / kikkou

An astrophytum  myriostigma cv kikkou was in flower in the afternoon.
I removed shade cloths covered over the roof of greenhouse early in the morning.
The brightness in the greenhouse has returned as like summer days.
It may affect on the flowering.
