Cactus / fissuratus

The photo is an Ariocarpus fissuratus propagated from seed by myself.
I sowed seeds on 30th September 2006.
10 seedlings have still survived and 4 of them were in flower yesterday.

Cactus / bicolor

It is one of other Ariocarpus retusu variations, v bicolor n. prov. KMR61.
As I mentioned yesterday, it is hard to tell how much different from jarmilae.

Cactus / jarmilae

I bought 25 seeds of Ariocarpus retusu v jarmilae MM110 and sowed on 31st August 2006.
Several young seedlings were grafted.
The photo is one of them.
I have still kept grafted ones for the harvesting seeds.
Jarmilae is one of retusu variations but it is hard to tell how much different from others.

Cactus / asterias

A small asterias was in flower in the afternoon yesterday.
Although the temperature rose to 28 'C, I did not expect any flowers of asterias in this season.
The plant is just 5 cm diameter.

Cactus / kotschoubeyanus

A grafted Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus f RioVerde has been starting in flower.
I have kept grafted ones for the harvesting seeds.
It will be opened more flowers soon.

Cactus / Ariocarpus hybrid

The photo is a 1st filial Ariocarpus hybrid, kotschoubeyanus x bravoanus v hintonii which I developed by myself. I sowed seeds on 7th October 2009 and grafted 12 seedlings.
Unfortunately the body size is quite small, may be related hybridization.
The flower color comes from both parents, mixed.

Cactus / hintonii

3 of grafted Ariocarpus bravoanus v hintoniis were in flower in this afternoon.
I bought 20 seeds and sowed on 31st October 2003.
6 young seedlings were grafted.
I harvested seeds from my plants and  sowed.
I have recognized the growing speed of own-rooted seedlings were very slow.
