Cactus / fissuratus

A young degrafted ariocarpus fissuratus cv godzilla was in flower yesterday afternoon.

The cactus is 2 years old, 8 cm in diameter.

This month is the last month of summer. This flowering is too early.

 

Cactus / loricatum

 A gymnocalycium spegazzinii v loricatum was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I bought seed and sowed in 2003.

The cactus has grown well and it is 17 cm in diameter currently.

Cactus / super kabuto

 Two astrophytum asterias cv super kabutos were in flower yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them, 11 cm in diamater.

This year is a drought year.  I could not see any rain for a while.

Cactus / hakujo fukuryu banjyaku

 An astrophytum hybrid, hakujo fukuryu banjyaku was in flower yesterday.

The cactus is a rooted off-set and it was the 1st flowering for the cactus.

The cactus is quite small, in a 6,5 cm square pot.

Cactus / heterochromus

 A thelocactus heterochromus was in flower in this afternoon.

I could not see so many cacti flowers lately.

Only this one was in flower today.

Cactus / Astrophytum hybrid

 4 astrophytum related species were in flower in this afternoon.

The photo is one of them, 1st filial hybrid, capricorne x super kabuto.

The cactus is 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / vatteri

 A gymnocalycium vatteri was in flower yesterday evening. 

I bought seeds and sowed in 2004. The cactus is 12 cm in diameter currently.

4 plants have servived.
