Cactus / aseliformis

It seems out of season but a Pelecyphora aseliformis was in flower.
I have kept quite many aseliformis but only one was in flower.
The cactus is a rooted off-set.

Cactus / super kabuto

It is in autumn but several asterias still are in flower.
The photo is a super kabuto.
It is a typical round shape, 12 cm in diameter.

Cactus / retusus

A degrafted Ariocarpus retusus was in flower.
I repotted it into a 125 mm square pot last spring but it seems too tight again.
I have to repot it next spring.

Cactus / furfuraceus

This is an Ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus.
It is mixed the gene of cauliflower but the cactus has not sown the character of cauliflower.
This one is a mature cactus, 19 cm in diameter.

Cactus / furfuraceus

Several retusus related species have pushed flowering buds up.
The photo is one of them, an Ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower.
It is quite young. The size is 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / fissuratus

A degrafted Ariocarpus fissuratus f Big Bend was in flower yesterday.
Form Big Bend has smoother tubercles than that of standard one.
I bought seeds and sowed on 31st October 2003.
The scion was degrafted in 2005.
The cactus relies on own-roots currently.

Cactus / bravoanus

It is 1st day in autumn in here.
Although warm days have continued, several Ariocarpus have been in flower.
The photo is one of them, Ariocarpus bravoanus.
