I once collected many South American cacti and some of them have still remained.
The photo is a Neoporteria clavata, in flower today.
The flowers look like made by plastic.

An astrophytum asterias cv super kabuto was in flower yesterday afternoon.
It is still in winter in here.
I assume this one failed to judge the opening season.

An other Mammillaria, sanchez-mejoradae has also been in flower.
It is rain today.

It seems spring has come in here.

A turbinicarpus valdezianus was in flower in the afternoon.
Spring will be soon but it needs 2 more months actually.
I have propagated this one from seed.

It is winter and is not flowering season of cacti.
Only several cacti are in flower in my place.
The photo is a grafted young Ariocarpus retusus cv Shinkawa tama zouge.
It will be 1 year old next month.

2 super kabutos were in flower in the afternoon.
The flower of asterias in winter is small.
