Cactus / heterochromus

 A thelocactus heterochromus was in flower yesterday.

Since the species was very popular, I bought 10 seeds and sowed in 2006.

6 plants have survived. The cactus on the photo is 12 cm in diameter.

Cactus / vatteri

 A gymnocalycium vatteri was in flower yesterday.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2004. 4 plants have survived.

The cactus is 13 cm in diameter.

Cactus / disciformis

 A strombocactus disciformis was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I sowed seeds in Nov. 2018. It is the largest one among seedlings, which is 3 cm in diameter.

It is the 1st flowering of the cactus.

Cactus / myriostigma

 An old astrophytum myriostigma was in flower in the afternoon.

I propagated the cactus from seed by myself.

The cactus is 17 cm in diameter and 22 cm tall.

Cactus / astrophytum hybrid

 The photo is a 1st filial astrophytum hybrid, coahuilense x super kabuto.

Flowers of these 2 pecies are very similar and so you can make a hybrid easily.

The cactus is 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / hybrid

 The photo is a 1st filial hybrid, Turbinicarpus alonsoi x Strombocactus disciformis which were in flower in this morning.

Tubercles of the cactus are shorter than that of standard alonsoi.

The cactus is quite small, 45 mm in diameter.

Cactus / himtonii

 An aztekium hintonii was in flower in this morning.

This degrafted / own rooted one is 8 cm in diameter. The rooting of hintonii is not difficult.

The flower of hintonii is quite small.

Cactus / alonsoi

 A degrafted turbinicarpus alonsoi was in flower yesterday.

Normal own-roots ones are small, 6 cm in diameter or so.

Since the cactus was grafted once for the purpose of seed harvesting, it is more than 10 cm.

Cactus / disciformis

 A strombocactus disciformis was in flower yesterday.

The cactus is quite small, just 7 cm in diameter.

It is early spring in hrer.

Cactus / valdezianus

 A turbinicarpus valdezianus was in flower yesterday afternoon.

The cactus was propagated from seeds harvested from my plant.

19 seedlings have survived in total.

Cactus / agavoides

 Several degrafted ariocarpus agavoides were in this afternoon.

Young seedlings were grafted and degrafted 2 years later.

The photo is one of them, 17 cm in diameter.

Cactus / intermedius

 Two degrafted ariocarpus fissuratus v intermedius were in flower.

The photo is one of them. Young seedlings were grafted and degrafted two years later.

The cactus is in a 15 cm pot.

Cactus / trigonus

 Three degradted ariocarpus trigonus were in flower.

I grafted very young seedlings and degrafted 2 years later.

They are in 12.5 cm individual square pots.

Cactus / kotschoubeyanus

 Two degrafted ariocarpus kotschoubeyanys related species were in flower.

The photo is on of them, in a 12.5 cm square pot.

Since the cactus was grafted once, the looking is abnormal.

Cactus / unknown ariocarpus

 The ariocarpus on the photo is unknown name but it is possibully a hybrid.

My freind gave me some seeds as "cauliflower" but the plant did not show the character of cauliflower.

The colour of flowers are very special.

 Two ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower were in flower yesterday.

The photo is one of them, which shows the character of cauliflower very well.

The cactus is 17 cm in diameter.

Cactus / Daruma Seiji

 A degrafted ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus cv Daruma Seiji was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I grafted a very young seedling onto a stock and defrafted 2 years later.

The cactus is 14 cm in diameter.

Cactus / agavoides

 Three ariocarpus agavoides were in flower yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them.

The cacus itself is not vest condition but it could open flowers.

 An ariocarpus fissuratus v lloydii was in flower in this morning.

I bought 30 seeds and sowed in 2005. Just one has survived.

The cactus is 13 cm in diameter currently.

Cactus / Daruma Royal

 Two ariocarous retusus cv Daruma Royal were in flower.

The cactus is 15 cm in diameter.
