Cactus / alonsoi

 Three degrafted turbinicarpus alonsoi were in flower yesterday.

The photo is one of them.

Alonsoi is a small cactus but the cactus shown on the photo is around 9 cm in diameter.

Cactus / astrophytum hybrid

 Yesterday was very hot, 43 C'. Two cacti were in flower.

The photo is one of them, astrophytum hybrid, hakujyo fukuryu banjyaku.

The cactus is 12 cm in diameter.

Cactus / hrizonthalonius

 A small echinocactus horizonthalonius was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I propagated this one from seed.

The cactus is just 10 cm in diameter.

Cactus / denegrii

 An obergonia denegrii was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I propagated this one from seed.

The cactus is 10 cm in diameter. I think it is the mature size of the species.

Cactus / loricatum

 Two gymnocalycium spegazzinii v loricatum were in flower yesterday.

The photo is one of them. I bought seeds and sowed in 2003.

The cactus is 15 cm in diameter currently.
