Cactus / jarmilae

 Flowers of ariocarpus retusus v jarmilae MM110 have come back.

Actually two plants are in flower. The photo is one of them.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2006. The cactus is 16 cm in diameter currently.

Cactus / ariocarpus hybrid

 Flower of an ariocarpus hybrid has come back.

The cactus is retusus cv cauliflower x fissuratus cv godzilla.

The cactus shows characters of both parents.

Cactus / kotschoubeyanus

 Two degrafted ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus f Rio Verde were in flower yesterday.

The photo is one of them. They were degrafted in 2008.

The life of degrafted cacti are shorter than that of own-root ones.

Cactus / godzilla

 May is the last month in autumn in here and almost all flowers of ariocarpus have finished but two fissuratus cv godzilla were in flower in this morning.

The photo is one of them.

I also could see some agavoides flower buds and so I could see flowers soon.
