New flower of this species is white but pinky colour will be added in 2~3 days later as shown the attached photo.

I have kept many of them.

Cactus / ariocarpus hybrid

 My friend gave me some seeds of cauliflower and I sowed in 2014.

Since the history of seeds was unknown, some seedlings were grafted to see result earlier.

It seems the cactus is not a cauliflower, a hybrid I think.

This cultivar has quite long tubercles, 12 cm in diameter currently.

I propagated this from seed harvested from my plant.

It was 1st flowering for the cactus.

 A degrafted ariocarpus fissuratus f Big Bend was in flower.

It was 2nd flowering for the cactus in this season.

Overall diameter is 25 cm.

The cactus has grown well, 16 cm in diameter.
