Cactus / heterochromus

 A thelocactus heterochromus was in flower in this afternoon.

I could not see so many cacti flowers lately.

Only this one was in flower today.

Cactus / Astrophytum hybrid

 4 astrophytum related species were in flower in this afternoon.

The photo is one of them, 1st filial hybrid, capricorne x super kabuto.

The cactus is 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / vatteri

 A gymnocalycium vatteri was in flower yesterday evening. 

I bought seeds and sowed in 2004. The cactus is 12 cm in diameter currently.

4 plants have servived.

Cactus / horizonthalonium

 Two more gymnocalycium species were in flower in this afternoon.

The photo is one of them, a G. spegazzinii v horizonthalonium.

I boght seeds and sowed also in 2003.

Cactus / ornatum

 Two gymnocalycium species were in flower in this afternoon. The photo is one of them, G. spegazzinii v ornatum.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2003. More than 10 plants have survived.

The flower could not open freely due to interfering strong spines.

Cactus / denegrii

 A young Obregonia denegrii was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I harvested seeds from my plants and sowed.

The cactus is quite small, in a 6.5 cm square pot.

Cactus / fukuryu hannya

 The cactus shown on the attachment is an astrophytum hybrid.

Since seeds were given by my friend, I am not sure the history.

I think the cactus has strong gene of ornatum.

Cactus / astrophytum hybrid

 A 1st filial astrophytum hybrid, capricorne x red flowering asterias was in flower yesterday. 

The body is similar to asteras and flowere colour is red enough, I think.

I have kept 12 seedlings harvested seeds on same day.

Cactus / placentiformis

 A discocactus placentiformis v latispinus f major HU640 was in flower. I took the photo early in this morning.

I boudht seeds and sowed in 2007.

The cactus grows well, 17 cm in diameter currently.

Cactus / Banjyaku

 Two astrophytum hybrid, banjyaku were in flower yesterday.

The photo is one of them, hakujo fukuryu banjyaku.

The cactus is 12 cm in diameter currently.
