 3 echinocactus hirizonthalonius v moelleri were in flower in this afternoon.

The photo is one of them. I have kept 11 flowering size moelleri in total.

The moelleri has shorter spines compaired to standard one.

Cactus / heterochromus

 A thelocactus heterochromus was in flower yesterday.

This species was quite popular years ago when I bought seeds.

The cactus is a good size, 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / myriostigma

 Two matured Astrophytum myriostigmas were in flower. The photo is one of them.

The cactus lost roots by rotting once but I cut bottom and rerooted.

The cactus is 15 cm in diameter and 20 cm tall.

Cactus / fukuryu banjyaku

 An astrophytum hybrid, fukuryu banjyaku was in flower yesterday.

Since my freind gave me seeds, I am not sure the history of seeds.

The cactus is 10 cm in diameter.

Cactus / armatum

 Three gymnocalycium spegazzinii related species were in flower in this afternoon.

The photo is one of them, v armatum.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2003.

Cactus / Astrophytum hybrid

 1st filial astrophytum hybrid, coahuilense x super kabuto was in flower in this afternoon.

The hybrid was made by myself.

The cactus is 12 cm in diameter.

Cactus / cardenasium

 The cactus on photo is a Gymnocalycium spegazzinii v cardenasium f super spines.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2003. 

Since spines are too strong, the flower is limited to open freely.

Cactus / super kabuto

 An astrophytum asterias cv super kabuto was in flower in this afternoon.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2005.

The cactus is matured enough, 12 cm in diameter.

3 strombocactus discformis were in flower yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them. My friend gave me 2 plants for collecting seeds sme years ago.

35 seedlings grow currently.

 A gymnocalycium spegazzinii was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2004.

The cactus is quite large, 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / kikko khoyo banjyaku

 An astrophytum hybrid, kikko khoyo banjyaku was in flower today.

Banjyaku is a hybrid, ornatum x myriostigma.

Since the gene of khoyo is mixed, the body is reddish.

 Two gymnocalycum vatteries were in flower yesterday.

The photo is one of them, 12 cm in diameter.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2005. 5 cacti have survived.

Cactus / alonsoi

 Two turbinicarpus alonsoi were in flower in this afternoon.

Since they are degrafted ones, the bodies are larger  than standard ones.

 A degrafted / rooted Geohintonia mexicana was in flower yesterday afternoon.

The cactus was grafted once but it was degrafted and rooted. The rooting of this species is not difficult.

 A  grafted Mammilaria luethyi was in flower yesterday.

I kept many of this species about 10 years ago but I lost all of them.

This one was returned by my friend last year.

 A matured Astrophytum coahuilence was in flower in this afternoon.

I bought a small plant in 2003.

The cactus is 23 cm tall and 16 cm in diameter.

Cactus / hintonii

 A rooted off-set of Aztekium hintonii was in flower in this afternoon.

The cactus is 8 cm in diameter.

The rooting of hintonii is not difficult but you have to select an off-set which is more than 3 cm in diameter.

Cactus / aselliformis

 A pelecyphora aselliformis was in flower yesterday.

As you can see, the flower is not normal, which petals are very thin.

This degrafted one is 7 cm in diameter.

Cactus / ritteri

 A degrafted aztekium ritteri was in flower in this afternoon.

A short pereskiopsis stock is still attached and the cactus relies on the stock.

The cactus is very small. Overall size is 8cm in diameter.

Cactus / strobiliformis

 Several pelecyphora species were in flower yesterday. The photo is one of them, P. strobiliformis.

Since the cactus is a degrafted one, it is hairy compared to standard one.

The cactus is 8 cm in diameter.

The cactus shows the characters of both parents.

The cactus is 14 cm in diameter.

The valdezianus is a small cactus, just 4 cm in diameter.

 A neoporteria  clavata was in flower in this afternoon.

I could see some flowering buds in mid of June but it was hard to open because it was in winter.

I had quite many neoporteria species but only this one has remained.

 An ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus f Rio Verde was in flower in this afternoon.

It was mid of winter and so I thought the cactus could not open a flower but it could.

The cactus is a degrafted one, 10 cm in diameter.

Cactus / pectinifera

 3 Uebelmannia species were in flower yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them, U. pectinifera.

The flower of pectinifera is quite small.

Cactus / alonsoi

 A degrafted Turbinicarpus alonsoi was in flower yesterday when it was the begining of winter. 

Normal alonsoi is small but this one is 13 cm indiameter because the cactus was grafted once.

Cactus / buiningii

 Although May is the last month in autumn in here, two uebelmannia species were in flowere yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them, U. buiningii.

I harvested seeds and sowed last summer but I could not see any germinations.

Cactus / retusus ?

 Several ariocarpus retusus related species were in flower yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them, 12 cm in diameter.

It seems the cactus is mixed other ariocarpus species but I am not sure because the cactus is propagated from seed given by my friend.

 Two degrafted ariocarpus scaphirostris were in flower yesterday.

The cactus is quite small, is in a 8.5 cm square pot.

 A degrafted matured ariocarpus retusus was in flower yesterday.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2003. A young seedling was grafted and degrafted later.

The cactus relies on own-roots currently.

Cactus / Ariocarpus hybrid

 An ariocarpus hybrid, retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower x fissuratus cv godzilla was in flower yesterday.

The cactus is a degrafted one and just 4 years old.

The flower is 2nd flowering in this season.

Cactus / Suguri cauliflower

 An ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower was in flowet in this afternoon.

This is one of off-speings of the original cauliflower.

The cactus shows the character of cultivar very well.

Cactus / Rio Verde

 A. degrafted ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus f Rio Verde was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2003.  To harvest seeds earlier, some seedlings were grafted in 2003.

The cactus has grown well, 11 cm in diameter.

Cactus / agavoides

 Some ariocarpus agavoides were in flower yesterday. The photo is one of them.

Agavoides is a small ariocarpus, is  in a 8.5 cm square pots.

As you can see on the photo, some tubercle tips have died. If you could manage the plant well, this promlem will not happen.

Cactus / ritteri

 An aztekium ritteri was in flower.

I think the flowering was out of season but it was in flower by some reasons.

The cactus is quite small, in a 8.5 cm square pot.

Cactus / Shikawa Tama Zouge

 A young ariocarpus retusus cv Shinkawa Tama Zouge was in flower yesterday afternoon.

This is one of off-springs. I harvested seeds form original ones and sowed.

They have reached to the flowering age.

Cactus / intermedius

 Flowers of ariocarpus species came back yesterday afternoon.

The photo is one of them, fissuratus v intermedius.

It was 2nd flowering in this season for the cactus.

Cactus / scaphirostris

 An ariocarpus scaphirostris was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2003.

Only one seedling have survived but I have kept some off-springs.

Cactus / duo-fingers

 An ariocarpus retusus cv duo-fingers was in flower.

I have never bought seeds of this cultivar but the cactus shows the character of duo-fingers.

The cactus is 15 cm in diameter currently.

Cactus / elephantideus

 An ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus v elephantideus was in flower.

I have kept some other kotschoubeyanus related species but only this one was in flower.

I hope I could see more flowers soon.

Cactus / fissuratus

 10 small ariocarpus fissuretus were in flower. They are in 6.5 cm square pots.

The colour of fissuratus flower is very nice.

 An ariocarpus retusus was in flower yesterday.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2003.

This retusus is the largest ariocarpus with single head in my place.

Cactus / super kabuto

 Yesterday was a good sunshine day and some Astrophytum species returned to flower in the afternoon.

The photo is one of them, a super kabuto.

I assume the flower is the last one in this season.

Cactus / jarmilae

 3 matured Ariocarpus retusus v jarmilaes were in flower.  The photo is one of them.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2006.

I am not sure how much different between standard retusus and this variation is.
