Cactus / agavoides

 I could see some flowers of Ariocarpus agavodes in this afternoon.

Winter will be soon in here. I assume they confused the season.

The photo is one of them. Since this cactus was grafted once, the body has grown as a large block.

Cactus / buiningii

 A uebelmannia buiningii was in flower yesterday. Since it is late autumn, I could see flowers of just three cacti species.

U. buningii is a small cacti but this one was grafted once, the current diameter is 10 cm.

I collected seeds and sowed in this year. Seedlings are very small, around 1 mm in diameter.

Cactus / godzilla

 A very young scion, Ariocarpus fissuratus cv godzilla was in flower in this morning.

I grafted a seedling last November. It was in flower 6 months after grafted.

The scion is just 35 mm in diameter. Flowers come out an odd location.

Cactus / kotschoubeyanus

 An ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus f Rio Verde was in flower in this morning.

Since the cactus was grafted once, the body has turned to a large block.

The cactus is around 10 cm in diameter.

Cactus / cauliflower

 An ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower was in flower.

It may be the last flowering of Ariocarpus in this season. Winter will be soon.

The cactus is relatively small, 12 cm in diameter.

Cactus / retusus

 May is the last month of autumn in here and winter will start in June.

Flowering of almost all Ariocarpus species have finished but a retusus was in flower.

This cactus is 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / bi-fingers

 An ariocarpus retusus f bi-fingers was in flower.

I propagated this cactus from seed harvested form my cactus.  I never bought seeds of bi-fingers but some of my retusus show this form.

The cactus is 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / godzilla

 A dgrafted young Ariocarpus fissuratus cv godzilla was in flower yesterday afternoon.

It was 3rd flowering in this autumn for the cactus.

The fissuratus cultivar godzilla is not a large plant. It is in a 8.5 cm square pot.
