A matured Astrophytum asterias cv super kabuto was in flower.
The original super kabuto was round type but this one shows a special shape. It is not a starfish shape but rib bottoms are pushed up. I assume various types of asterias were mixed in history.
The current size is 14 cm in diameter.
A discocactus horstii was in flower yesterday.
I had many grafted ones before but all of them had gone.
The cactus on photo is a rooted off-set removed from a grafted one.
The cactus is quite small which is in a 6.5 cm square pot. White flowers release a nice scent.
4 of Astrophytum hybrids, capricorne x red flowering asterias were in flower yesterday.
I can say flower colour is red enough but the body is very similar to asterias.
They are 5~7 cm in diameter.

A degrafted and rooted Turbinicarpus alonsoi was in flower.
Alonsoi is a small cactus which is around 5 cm in diameter.
Since this one was grafted once, the body is around 10 cm in diameter.
This cactus is mixed the gene of Strombocactus slightly.
A thelocactus heterochromus f longispinus was in flower yesterday.
I am not sure the reason but the flower is smaller than normal.
