Cactus / retusus

An ariocarpus retusus was in flower yesterday.
It is the oldest retusus in my place, sown seed in 2003.
It is 20 cm in diameter and 18 cm tall.

Cactus / kotschoubeyanus

A degrafted Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus v elephntideus was in flower.
Tubercles of this species are larger than that of standard one.
Flower is darker than standard one.

Cactus / furfuraceus

Many ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus were in flower.
It is one of them.
Since it is degrafted one, thick wool is formed and covers over plant top.
The size is 14 cm in diameter.

Cactus / intermedius

An ariocarpus fissuratus v intermedius was also in flower.
This one is also young.
Seed was sown and a seedling was grafted in 2015.
It was degrafted and rooted in 2017.

Cactus / cauliflower

An ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower was in flower.
It is very young.
I sowed seed in 2015 and a seedling was grafted.
The scion was degrafted in 2017.
The cactus has just started to show the character of cultivar.

Cactus / furfuraceus

An ariocarpus retusus v ferfuraceus cv Daruma seiji was in flower yesterday.
This species has short round tubercles and seiji body colour.
The size is 12 cm in diameter currently.

Cactus / jarmilae

Many Ariocarpus were in flower in the afternoon.
The photo is one of them, retusus v jarmilae.
Seeds were sown in 2006 and it is 17 cm in diameter currently.

Cactus / super kabuto

A matured super kabuto was in flower.
It is a typical super kabuto, not special at all but the flower colour is reddish.

Cactus / miracle kabuto

A miracle kabuto was in flower.
As you can see on the photo, the flower in autumn is quite small.
This one is my oldest miracle kabuto, 18 cm in diameter.

Oibo ruri kabuto

Young asterias sown seeds in 2012 were in flower yesterday.
The photo is one of them, Oibo ruri kabuto, 5cm in diameter.
I have kept 15 cacti sown seeds same time.

Cactus / super kabuto

Many asterias were in flower today.
The photo is one of them, a matured super kabuto.
It is 14 cm in diameter.

Cactus / fissuratus

An other Ariocarpus fissuratus f Big Bend were in flower in the morning.
The total size is 25 cm in diameter.
It is too hot and can not go to outside now.

It is 1st of March today, the expected maximum temperature is 40 C'.
