Cactus / hintonii

3 of Ariocarpus bravoanus v hintoniis were in flower yesterday.
It will be a special week in this week.
Daytime temperature will be between 37 to 40 C' through the week.

Cactus / fissuratus

An ariocarpus fissuratus f Big Bend was in flower.
I bought seeds and sowed in 2003.
Form Big Bend has smoother body skin than that of standard one.
It is still hot but autumn will be soon.

Cactus / fukuryu

An astrophytum hybrid, fukuryu banjyaku was in flower.
It was propagated from seed given my friend and I am not sure the exact source.
I think this one shows a typical fukuryu appearance.

Cactus / kikkou

A degrafted Astropyum myriostigma cv kikkou, khoyo was in flower.
I degrafted and rooted it last September.
The rooting of myriostigma is very easy.

Cactus / red flowering hanazono kabuto

The attached photo is a 2nd filial red flowering hanazono kabuto.
The character of hanazono has not appeared yet.
It was degrafted and rooted last September.
The size is 5 cm in diameter.

Cactus / kebadachi kabuto

A kebadachi kabuto was in flower in this afternoon.
This kabuto has fluffy flecking.
The body is a sea-star shaped and very flat, 11 cm in diameter.

Cactus / miracle kabuto

A young miracle kabuto was in flower yesterday.
I sowed seed in 2012.
It was repotted lately in a 8 cm square pot.

Cactus / hanazono kabuto

Many asterias were in flower.
The photo is one of them, a matured hanazono kabuto.
The current size is 15 cm in diameter.

Cactus / variegated asterias

A small variegated asterias was in flower in this morning.
It is just 6 cm in diameter.
The flower is pinky.
