A red flowering asterias was in flower.
The stigma is also red which is the evidence of true red flower.
Unfortunately the body size is very small, 6 cm in diameter.

Cactus / capricorne
An astrophytum capricorne was in flower.
I am quite sure propagated from seed but I can not remember when I sowed.
The color of flower is reddish, different from the standard one.

Cactus / miracle kabuto
A mature aged miracle kabuto was in flower.
This one shows a typical flecking pattern of the miracle kabuto.
The height of the cactus should be lower ideally.

Cactus / asterias
An asterias was in flower.
I sowed seed in 2003.
The current size is 15 cm in diameter.
This one looks like a standard asterias but not exactly.
I think it is mixed various forms.

Cactus / Ferocactus
A unknown name Ferocactus was in flower.
I bought cactus-mix seeds and sowed in 2000.
The body is 40 cm in diameter.
This one is in my backyard.
Here is no snow and no ice even if it was mid of winter.
Cacti can grow outdoors without any issues through a year.
