Cactus / super kabuto

This is one of my super kabuto seedlings.
It has good prospects in its future, I believe.
The seedling is 3 years old and just 3 cm diameter.

Cactus / Ariocarpus hybrid

It is out of cactus flowering season currently but one of grafted Ariocarpus hybrids was in flower yesterday.
The plant is 1st filial, kotschoubeyanus x bravoanus v hintonii.
I sowed seeds and grafted young seedlings in 2009.
The body of plant is quite small.

Cactus / Astrophytum hybrid

An Astrophytum hybrid, 2nd filial hakuran-super, (coahuilence x super kabuto) x super kabuto was almost in flower. Since it is in winter now, it seems hard to open the flower.

Cactus / super kabuto

Rain stopped in the afternoon.
A super-kabuto, 8cm diameter was in flower in the afternoon.

Cactus / khoyo

This is also a matured cactus, Astrophytum myriostigma v nudum cv khoyo, kikou.
This cultivar has two special characters.
One is khoyo, turning body color from autumn to spring and the other is kikou, showing body shape looks like tortoise shell.
Since the plant is matured, the body color does not turn any more.

Cactus / Onzuka-rampo

This is also a matured cactus, Astrophytum myriostigma cv Onzuka which was developed by Mr Onzuka years ago.
Since the plant is matured, the body is elongated slightly and starts to develop new additional ribs.
The body is 15 cm diameter currently.

Cactus / asterias

No flower were opened yesterday.
I post one of my asterias.
I sowed seeds in 2002.
The seedling was an ordinal one but it changed suddenly by unknown reason.
A normal asterias has 8 ribs but it was increased to 13 ribs.
The current size is 17 cm diameter.

Cactus / valdezianus

It comes back to spring.
Several Turbinicarpus valdezianus were in flower yesterday.
Some years ago I sowed quite many seeds.
These seedlings have been grown and been flowering size.
The plant is in a 5 cm square tube.
