Cactus / pectinifera

A Mammillaria pectinifera was in flower in the afternoon today.
I propagated the cactus from seeds.
I sowed seeds on 27/07/2007.
I believe spring will be soon.

Cactus / denegrii

This grafted Obregonia denegrii has grown very slowly.
I grafted a small seedling 2 years ago but it is still quite small.
The body color is not normal but seeds come from my plant which is normal one.

Cactus / Onzuka

I also grafted 3 of Astrophytum myriostigma cv Onzuka seedlings last autumn.
They have also grown well.
I will graft more in September.

Cactus / myriostigma cultivar

I grafted several seedlings of Astrophytum myriostigma v nudum cv khoyo last autumn.
Scions have been grown quite well.
The photo is one of them.
As the name of cultivar, the body color has been turned to red.

Cactus / pectinifera

This is one of Mammillaria pectinifera seedlings.
I sowed seeds on 27/07/2007 and so it is almost 5 years old.
Flower buds have come out and been waiting spring.

Cactus / flower in winter 2

This flower is out of season completely.
Asterias should not be in flower in winter but one of plants opened a flower yesterday.

Although the winter solstics has passed through, it has been in mid of winter.
A few cactus are in flower.
The photo is an Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus v elephantideus grafted on a Pereskiopsis stok.
I will degraft in September.
