 6 ariocarpus retusus cv Daruma Royals were in flower yesterday afternoon.

Same species are in flower on same day.

The photo is one of them. It is the largest one, 20 cm in diameter.

Cactus / kotschoubeyanus

 Several ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus f Rio Verde were in flower yesterday.

The photo is one of them. It is 2nd flowering in this autumn for the cactus.

I lost some of  this species lately and I have to regain number.

Cactus buiningii

 An uebelmannia buiningii was in flower yesterday afternoon.

I boght seeds and sowed in 2006.

Flowers of uebelmannia species are quite small.

Cactus / ariocarpus hybrid

The photo is a very young ariocarpus hybrid, retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower x fissuratus cv Godzilla which will be 2 years old next July.

24 seedlings have been grafted onto Pereskiopsis stocks. The photo is one of them.

The scion on the photo has shown the character of both parents.

The current size is 5 cm in diameter.

Cactus / trifingers

A young ariocarpus retusus cv trifingers was in flower.

It was 1st flowering for the cactus.

Since it is still young, the character of cultivar has not shown yet.

Cactus / cauliflower

An ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus cv Suguri cauliflower was in flower.

It was the 1st flowering for the cactus.

This one shows the character of cauliflower relatively well.

Cactus / bravoanus

Two ariocarpus bravoanus were in flower.

I bought seeds and sowed in 2005.

The photo is one of them. A. bravoanus is a small cactus, in a 6.5 cm square pot.
