Many Ariocarpus retusus v furfuraceus were in flower yesterday afternoon.
They were degrafted with a short Pereskiopsis stocks 4 years ago.
I have not checked roots yet but I assume stocks died and own roots have started to develop.
An other fissuratus f Big Bend was also in flower yesterday.
I bought seeds and sowed in 2003.
Several young seedlings were grafted on Hylocereus stocks and degrfted later.
It is one of them, 20 cm in diameter.
My main collection is asterias especially miracle kabuto.
The period from seed to flower is not so long, around 5 years
The photo is a young miracle kabuto, sown seed in 2012.
I have kept similar age ones quite many.
