Cactus / disciformis

After repeated failures, I have gotten a successful germination of Strombocactus disciformis.
I got seeds from my friend and sowed on 10th March this year.
The potting medium is crashed and sifted scoria.
The sizes of seedlings are less than 1 mm currently.
I can not to do any at moment and have to wait until they becomes 2 mm diameter which size I can graft.

  1. These grow quite fast when grafted, at least compared to their natural growth.

My oldest S. disciformis graft is around 9months old at the moment. There are links to photos of it along the way, and a photo from today here if you are interested.

Good luck with your grafting in the future!
